The APM Practitioner Qualification APMPQ assesses a delegate's appropriate application of knowledge areas defined in the APM Body of Knowledge. It is an International Project Management Association IPMA Level C Qualification.
This course is designed to prepare delegates to undertake the APMPQ assessment centre. It ensures delegates are familiar with an assessment centre environment, the ways in which evidence of competence can be demonstrated and enables delegates to participate in activities similar to those by which they will be assessed.
The APMPQ is the only project management qualification in the UK that actually assesses the capability of a project manager and is designed to provide the individual with an internationally recognised qualification that confirms their competence in project management.
The APMPQ is an intermediate qualification for project management practitioners who can demonstrate an ability to manage non-complex projects or run a key control function of a large-scale project.
ObjectivesAt the end of this course you will be able to:
- Understand the requirements of the APM in awarding the Practitioner Qualification
- Be familiar with how the assessment will be carried out
- Create a framework on which to build revision and preparation
- Practise the knowledge acquired
